2008 Summer Programme

family room at the Centre, Ballycastle

A time for recreation, fun and respite. Corrymeela runs week-long summer programmes when we host famlies, children and young people from all over Ireland.

This year, we will be greeting some familiar faces, but also working with some new groups and making new friends.  We are delighted to launch the summer programme with the annual youth conference - Visions 4 2 Moro - during the first week of July.

As ever, staff, community members and our long-term volunteer team, will be supported by a number of summer volunteers who join us from all over the world. We are looking forward to welcoming these volunteers who help make the summer programme what it is and we hope they bring some good weather with them.

All in all, we are sure that this summer will be exciting, sometimes chaotic and hugely rewarding for all involved.

The centre is located close to the Ballycastle beach, forest walks and open farms. Not to mention the North Antrim Coast beauty spots.  Our programme runs through July and August, and at this stage, there are only a few weeks available to book.

For more information on the programme, please call Becca Moody and Sonja Tammen for volunteering at 028 2076 2626.
