The Corrymeela Community is seeking a 12 month residential volunteer to help us further develop our programme work at the Centre.
The role as
Volunteer Programme Development Assistant will support us in the research, design, development and delivery of quality, reconciliation programme work at the Corrymeela centre, in such a way as to meet the overall vision and purpose of the Corrymeela Community.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support for the development of centre based programmes.
- Research and facilitate programme content development & experimentation.
- Maintain and develop how we record and file programme content resources (hard-copy and soft-copy).
- Take a lead role in training and disseminating programme content to staff and volunteers.
- Participate in the mid-week Cover Rota weekly
- Fulfil the role of lead facilitator in at least 12 centre based programmes.
- Ensure that all Child Protection and Health and Safety Policies are adhered to during all programme work.
- Provide support for the planning and delivery of the Summer Programme.
This role will commence on 1 September 2008. The closing date for applications is 14 April 2008. Corrymeela will provide room and board and a small monthy expense reimbursement. We will provide you with training, and a number of personal and professional development opportunties throughout the programme year.
