We’re hiring a Volunteer Manager and a Fundraising Officer


Volunteer Manager

We are looking for an outstanding Volunteer Manager who can lead the development of our new Horizons programme, enabling our teams of residential and non–residential volunteers to thrive, while supporting the groups we work with to live well together.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Develop and deliver an annual volunteer implementation plan
  • Lead the recruitment, training and management of our volunteer team.
  • Develop, and manage the delivery of, volunteer policy and procedures, which ensure that all volunteers outwork Corrymeela’s ethos and operate within current legislation and volunteer best practice.
  • Support volunteers to integrate well by ensuring good communication and nurturing good relationships between volunteers and staff
  • Manage the development of relationships with partners who provide volunteers
  • Main up–to–date, high quality volunteer records and ensure compliance with appropriate external agencies.

We’re offering a salary of £28,651.80.

Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer who can support the delivery of our Fundraising Strategy by deepening relationships with, and increasing income from, supporters, High Value Donors, Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Donors.

The successful candidate will be able to

●     Support the development and delivery of compelling fundraising campaigns and supporter relations materials, to increase income from a range of sources.

●     Recruit new supporters face to face, through others and digitally

●     Support key managers to produce applications to increase income from specific trusts, foundations, corporate and high value donors.

●     Work closely with colleagues and our database supplier to ensure that our donor and volunteer data is managed effectively and efficiently and in a way which complies with legal and best practice guidelines.

●     Produce reports from our database for management and communication activities

 

While we would like to make a full–time appointment, we would be open flexible working requests.

With a clear fundraising strategy in place, there is the potential for this role to develop in the future as funding increases.

We’re offering a salary of £27,310.50 per annum. While we would like to make a full–time appointment, we would be open to flexible working requests.
