Help vulnerable communities discover new ways to thrive

We’ve been working with the Big Momas, a group of mums from West Belfast, as they face the challenges of drugs and para–militarism in their local community.

We believe that the best way to get through the biggest challenges is together.

Become a regular giver today and help groups like the Big Momas thrive together, as they face the challenges of drugs and para–militarism in their local community. Watch the Big Momas inspiring film below (filmed in 2019), which shows how the group deepened their relationships and learn how to become better parents together, and become a regular giver today.

The Big Momas Group supports mums who have struggled to parent their young people in the face of challenges such as drugs and para–militarism in West Belfast.

The Big Momas came to our Ballycastle Centre to enable them to deepen their relationships and continue their learning together.

When the group returned to our Ballycastle Centre for a second time, they had built enough trust to continue to explore how to deal with conflict at home.

By giving regularly, you can help us support more groups like the Big Momas to discover new ways to survive and thrive together, in the midst of the challenges they faceYour regular gift will help us begin to welcome back thousands of people every year to our centre and into our programmes — because together is better.

A regular gift or recurring donation is especially valuable because it is a reliable source of income, helping us to plan better, pay our core costs and develop our programmes.

  • £5 a month could help us support groups who are struggling to cope with the impact of COVID–19.
  • £10 per month could help to pay the salary of a facilitator to work with vulnerable groups.
  • £20 per month could help provide accommodation and food for a group to visit our Ballycastle Centre.
