The Book of Ruth, the Moabites and Brexit, Belfast Office
26 Mar 2019
Corrymeela Belfast Office
Corrymeela Belfast Office, 83 University Street
26th March: 1.00pm – 2.00pm (doors open at 12.30pm)
Pádraig Ó Tuama, poet, theologian, storyteller and leader of the Corrymeela Community will share some reflections on land, people and borders.
Pádraig will explore how the Book of Ruth raises some very contemporary issues about national identity, and what it means to belong to somewhere – and he will, of course, do it in his own inimitable style. The event is organised by Belfast, City of Sanctuary which works to make Belfast a more welcoming environment for refugees, asylum–seekers and people from new communities.
This is a free event.
