06 Nov - 04 Dec 2019
We’re delighted to be partnering once again with Belfast Cathedral for another Theology in the City series beginning Wednesday 6 November and running every Wednesday till 4 December.
This series, titled “Bible Stories to Bridge Difference” will look at traditional and familiar bible stories through new angles, exploring the variety of ways in which they can speak to us and for us. They will also deliberately offer new perspectives to help us practice holding our differences well and dialoguing across that difference in healthy ways.
Community Leader Alex Wimberly will introduce the series and will be followed in subsequent weeks by Sarah Williamson, Pádraig Ó Tuama and Glenn Jordan.
Each week will begin with Eucharist at 12noon followed by a sandwich lunch at 12.30pm. Conversations around the story will begin at 1pm and end promptly at 2pm to facilitate people who may have to return to work.
Our thanks to the Dean, the Very rev Stephen Forde, and the other Cathedral staff for their enthusiastic partnership in this initiative.
