Lenten Walks 2020 Cherish the Earth, Protect our Planet

Sadly, because of the COVID–19 virus outbreak and subsequent government and medical advice, we have decided to CANCEL all of our current series of Lenten Walks. In the meantime keep safe and we look forward to seeing you next year.

The Annual Lenten Corrymeela Walks started in 2013 and have continued every year led by members and friends in different parts of Ireland where they live and work or where they want to spread the message of peace and reconciliation.  The aim is to provide an opportunity to walk, talk, pray, reflect and enjoy the wonders of creation.

For all the walks wear suitable warm clothes/ waterproof gear, walking boots and walking sticks. Bring your own snacks, water and/or flask. Arrange own transport – preferably link with others to carpool.

Please register with the relevant walk leader in advance so that we can communicate should nature intervene and keep in touch with this page for any updates.

Any donation to the work of Corrymeela will be gratefully accepted.

This year, with the issue of Climate Change very much in our thoughts, the theme for the five walks is ‘Cherish the Earth, Protect our Planet’.
