“Trauma comes, sooner or later, to all of us, and its consequences can be devastating.’’

Dr. James Gordon, ‘Transforming Trauma, Discovering wholeness and healing after trauma.

And yet, the wounds and suffering from trauma are not just individual experiences. Trauma is a collective experience that impacts organisations and communities throughout society and therefore requires collective healing. Together, more than ever, we need to envision ways for a renewed, holistic, and collective response to the deep fragmentation, pain, and suffering.

This is an opportunity to start a conversation and begin to imagine a stronger, healthier, and more connected trauma–informed community, guided and led by the community.

A morning of conversation led by Corrymeela, Starling Collective, and the trauma project partner consortium: LORAG, CANS, Place To Wonder, Hummingbird Project, Belfast Wellbeing Project and ANAKA Collective.

Guest speakers, Sara Boyce, PPR, and Emily Duffy, Parable.
