Save the Date for Ballyclare Male Choir’s Spectacular Fundraising Concert!
Calling all music enthusiasts and supporters of Corrymeela. Please save the date and get ready for an unforgettable evening of singing. Come to McCracken Memorial Church on Malone Road, Belfast, on Friday, 25th October, as Ballyclare Male Choir takes to the stage in support of Corrymeela.
Ballyclare Male Choir will be led by newly appointed Conductor Sheelagh Greer (BEM – BMus ATCL Dip ABRSM). Sheelagh has a long association with Ballyclare Male Choir and joined the choir in 2012 as Accompanist and Deputy Conductor. This is her first full season as Conductor of this top choir. Her passion for music is contagious and under her direction, the Ballyclare Male Choir will resonate with powerful harmonies, rhythms, and precision.
Featuring soloist Alexandra Dick: A rising star with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre from ArtsED in London (class of 2020). Her credits include captivating roles like Kate in ‘Wild Party’ and Enid in ‘Legally Blonde.’ And let’s not forget her show–stopping performance in ‘Let’s the Music’ [is this the right title] at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019.
And to pull it all together the seasoned compere Gene Fitzpatrick will provide some light–hearted moments to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Not only will you enjoy an enchanting musical experience, but your presence also supports Corrymeela—a beacon of peace, reconciliation, and community building in Northern Ireland. Every year Corrymeela supports around 7,500 people, who are mainly from marginalised communities, to explore difference and discover ways to live well together.
