DpC Foundations Training at Corrymeela 2026

12 - 16 Oct 2026
Corrymeela Centre, Ballycastle

The Dialogue for peaceful Change (DpC) Foundations Training is a four–day immersive programme designed to equip participants with practical tools for understanding and transforming conflict. Held at Corrymeela’s beautiful Centre in Ballycastle, this interactive, participatory course combines conceptual insight with hands–on skill development, rooted in decades of peacebuilding work from Northern Ireland.

Across two interdependent modules, participants explore the deeper dynamics of conflict and change — from the biology of conflict and the impact of rivalry and scapegoating, to effective listening, mediative communication, and the DpC Six–Stage Mediative Framework. Through dialogue, reflective practice, group exercises and structured scenario work, you’ll leave with a shared language and toolkit for navigating conflict and change in your own life, organisation and community.

Whether you’re a leader, educator, facilitator, mediator or community organiser, this training empowers you to become a proactive force for peaceful, constructive change.
