Once upon a time
a Canadian came to stay at Corrymeela.
She stayed for three months.
As a volunteer.
Her name was Martha Martin.
She gave and lot, received a lot.
It wasn’t always easy being an older volunteer (over 50!)
She wrote a Blog about her time in community.
Martha has returned to Corrymeela at least five times,
bringing with her curious Canadians who want to learn about Reconciliation.
And now Martha has released a new book.
Its called:

Parables, Prayers and Promises. – Daily Devotions on Jesus. <
Several of the stories have their source inspiration from Corrymeela.
But this book is all Martha.
It is authentic, witty, and full of life.
It has lots of film, music and book references.
It is written from a deep wisdom held lightly.
