 Welcome Back John!

We are delighted to formally welcome back our Executive Director, John Stewart.

In August, 2018 John suffered an aortic aneurysm and stroke and exactly nine months to the day he has come back to Corrymeela on a phased return. John will be managing a range of development projects as he transitions back to full time hours and the full duties of the Executive Director role.

In the meantime, we are grateful to Tim Magowan, our Interim Executive Director who has steered us through the past few months. His contribution has been outstanding. Tim will continue in the role of Interim Executive Director.

Kate Pettis, Chair of Council stated, “John’s recovery is nothing short of miraculous and we look forward to John supporting us in our mission to transform division through human encounter”.
