Because Together is Better

01 Dec 2020

We’ve been working with the Big Momas, a group of mums from West Belfast, as they face the challenges of drugs and para–militarism in their local community. We believe that the best way to get through the biggest challenges is together.

The Big Momas Group supports mums who have struggled to parent their young people in the face of challenges such as drugs and para–militarism in West Belfast. They came to our Ballycastle Centre seeking to deepen their relationships and continue their learning together.

When the group returned to our Ballycastle Centre for a second time, they had built enough trust to continue to explore how to deal with conflict at home.

We hope you’re inspired by their story below.
