Interfaith and Belief Project DRAFT
09 Sep 2020
The Interfaith & Belief Project
The Belfast Local Community Action Plan has recently launched a project supporting faith and belief groups across our city. The Interfaith and Belief Project aims to provide opportunities for each tradition to present their own perspective positively, while also building understanding and stronger relationships between – and towards – the many faith and belief communities that make up Belfast.

There are opportunities to both volunteer and sign up to our mailing list to hear of events such as walking tours, café conversations and festivals.
Opportunities to Volunteer
We need lots of volunteers!
If you want to see your own faith or belief perspective positively portrayed in public settings, then please be part of this project – together, we can help our city develop better understanding of difference, address sectarianism and racism, and embrace diversity!
You do NOT require theological or spiritual knowledge though, either of your own perspective or of others, just enthusiasm to share what you have with others!

By volunteering, you are helping your own faith or belief community and your city, and you are gaining increasingly useful skills and experience for your future life.
