Rotary Partnership

08 Dec 2016

Corrymeela is delighted to announce a partnership with Rotary that will fund a number of volunteer placements over the next year.

Rotary is an international service organisation that brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and advance goodwill and peace around the world. Corrymeela and Rotary are co–operating across Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a shared commitment of community, service and volunteering. Both organisations have trained thousands of individuals for careers in peace building. Ballycastle Rotary Club and District Rotarians have funded this year’s District Peace Scholarship offering opportunities for up to 3 individuals to benefit from funded experience at the Corrymeela Centre, Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Corrymeela relies on over 80,000 volunteer hours every year and provides the opportunity to serve for anything between 1 day and 1 year at its residential centre in Ballycastle. For more information on volunteering click here.
