If you are new to the Project:

The Belfast Local Community Action Plan recently launched a project supporting faith and belief groups across our city. The Interfaith and Belief Project provides opportunities for each tradition to present their own perspective positively, while also building understanding and stronger relationships between – and towards – the many faith and belief communities that make up Belfast.

Website

We need lots of participants to help us build this programme!

If you want to see your own faith or belief perspective positively portrayed in public settings by working with others, then please be part of this project – together, we can help our city develop better understanding of difference, address sectarianism and racism, and embrace diversity! If you are not a person of faith, then there are also opportunities.

We need participants to help us to:

  • Create learning resources to show the positives of faiths and beliefs for our city and society [Stream 1]
  • Build understanding of our communities to highlight the best of their social contribution [Stream 2]
  • Celebrate the rich diversity of Belfast through exploring faith festivals and events [ Stream 3]

Be part of the change you want to see!

For further details, see our Participant Information Pack

You can sign up (above) to try any of these 3 streams, or contact petertate@corrymeela.org if any questions.

The Belfast Local Community Action Plan is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
