Joining Up: Exploring Education and Reconciliation
A learning collaboration with Community Relations in Schools
In January 2019 Corrymeela, in partnership with Community Relations in Schools (CRIS), held a dialogue exploring effective practice in promoting reconciliation through schools. We were joined by a range of interested parties from across the education, voluntary, academic and public sectors.
We approached the dialogue as part of a longer process of harnessing the knowledge across sectors and supporting the development of a more joined up understanding of reconciliation and good relations through schools.
As part of the original meeting, we filmed several of the case studies in order to further share and promote effective practice. The films will be useful to those who want to learn more about how reconciliation work can be embedded both within and across schools.
The digital case studies are embedded below (click on the YouTube icon on the bottom right to open in a new window)
