When Home Won’t Let You Stay

12 Feb 2020

Through speakers, story and poetry Corrymeela honoured people whose lives have been impacted by displacement driven by environmental, political, social, religious, and economic factors, and acknowledge the prevalence of gender–based violence among displaced peoples.

The day was a culmination of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender–Based Violence, which falls between the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and International Human Rights Day.

We’re grateful to Fitzroy Presbyterian Church for the venue and the Sir Halley Stewart Trust for funding to enable the event to happen.
